Return & Exchange Policy
At Kahanne Fabrics, we want you to be happy with every order. If something isn't right, we make returns and exchanges simple: no complicated forms, no hassle.
30-Day Returns
Most items purchased from kahannefabrics.com can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.

Important Note on Fabric by the Yard
Fabric and trims sold by the yard are cut to order and cannot be returned or exchanged once cut. The only exceptions are items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error.
If you received damaged or incorrect fabric, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right with a replacement, exchange, or full refund.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the item and the issue
- A short description of the problem
We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you. In most cases, you won't need to return the item.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Email kahannefabrics@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at (425) 570-5554 with your order number and reason for return.
- We will confirm eligibility and send return instructions within 1–2 business days.
- Ship the item back unused, in its original condition and packaging.
- Once we receive and inspect it, your refund or exchange is processed within 5–7 business days.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is processed. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days to appear on your statement. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
Return Shipping
- Our error (wrong, defective, or damaged item): we cover return shipping.
- All other returns: return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
We recommend a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
Exchanges
Want a different color or style? Eligible items can be exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Contact us to confirm availability before shipping your item back. If the new item has a different price, we will charge or refund the difference.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, the following are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Fabric and trims cut to order (any yardage)
- Opened or used thread cones
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items not in original condition (used, washed, altered, or missing packaging)
- Items marked final sale at the time of purchase
